Cookies & Local Storage Notice
Effective and last updated: October 1, 2026
This notice explains how Fendhold uses cookies and similar storage technologies on fendhold.com and in the Fendhold apps. It supplements our Privacy Policy.
1. No Tracking Cookies
Fendhold does not use advertising cookies, third-party tracking pixels, social media trackers, or cross-site tracking of any kind, and does not let third parties set cookies through our site to follow you. The public pages of fendhold.com, including this one, set no cookies of their own and load nothing from other websites; our hosting provider may set the short-lived security cookie described below.
2. Strictly Necessary Storage
The Fendhold app, on the web and on your device, uses storage that is strictly necessary for features you ask for:
| What | Why | How long |
|---|---|---|
| Sign-in session (cookie or browser local storage) | Keeps you signed in and protects your account | Until you sign out, or the session expires |
| Offline content cache (service worker and browser storage) | Lets guides and tools open without a connection | Until updated, or until you clear site data |
| Your saved data and settings (browser or app storage) | Keeps your plans, checklists and preferences on your device and queues changes to sync | Until you delete them, sign out, or clear site data |
| Security and load-balancing cookies set by our hosting provider | Protects the service from abuse and keeps it running | Short-lived, generally under one day |
Because this storage is needed for the service to work, it does not require consent under most laws. It is not used for advertising and not shared with third parties.
3. Your Choices
You can clear or block cookies and site data in your browser settings, and you can delete app data by signing out or uninstalling the app. If you do, you will be signed out and offline content and any unsynced changes on that device will be removed. We honor Global Privacy Control signals.
4. Changes and Contact
If we ever add optional cookies, such as analytics, we will update this notice first and, where the law requires, ask for your consent before using them. Questions: privacy@fendhold.com.
