Privacy Policy
Effective and last updated: October 1, 2026
This Privacy Policy explains how Angel Tech Corporation Industries L.L.C., an Oklahoma limited liability company (“we”, “us”, “our”) collects, uses, shares and protects information when you use Fendhold, including the Fendhold apps, the website at fendhold.com, and related services. We are the business (controller) responsible for that information.
1. Information We Collect
Information you give us
- Account information: your email address, a password (stored only in hashed form by our authentication provider, never readable by us), and an account identifier. If we offer sign-in with Apple or Google and you use it, we receive the email address (or Apple’s private relay address) and, if you allow it, the name that provider shares.
- Your content: the information you choose to save in Fendhold, such as emergency and preparedness plans, checklists and their progress, supply and water-storage records, notes, photos you attach, bookmarks, quiz results, and settings such as the state or region you select for location-specific guides.
- Support messages: what you send when you email us or report a problem, and our replies.
Information collected automatically
- Device and diagnostic information: device type and model, operating system and version, app version, language, time zone, IP address, and crash reports and error logs.
- Usage information: which features and guides are used and when, sync activity, and events such as sign-in, purchase and errors. We use it to keep Fendhold working, enforce plan limits, and decide what to improve.
Information from others
- Purchases: if you subscribe, the Apple App Store, Google Play or our payment processor tells us your subscription status, plan, renewal and expiry dates, country, and transaction identifiers. We never receive or store your full card number or bank details.
2. What We Do Not Collect
- We do not collect your device’s precise location (GPS). Location-specific guides use only the state or region you choose.
- We do not access your contacts, call history, messages or microphone. We access your camera or photo library only when you choose to take or attach a photo, and only that photo.
- We do not use advertising identifiers, advertising networks, data brokers, or cross-app tracking, and we do not build advertising profiles.
If a future version of Fendhold needs a new kind of information or a new device permission, we will update this policy first and, where the law or the device requires it, ask for your permission.
3. Offline Storage on Your Device
So that Fendhold works without a connection, guide content and your saved data are stored on your device, in the app’s private storage (or, on the website, in your browser’s storage). This includes a sign-in token that keeps you signed in. Data on your device is protected by your device’s own security, such as its passcode and encryption, so keep your device locked. Uninstalling the app or clearing the browser’s site data removes the copy on that device; data that has already synced remains in your account until you delete it. See Cookies & Local Storage for the website.
4. How We Use Information
We use information to:
- provide Fendhold: create and secure your account, store and sync your content across your devices, and show guides for the region you choose;
- process subscriptions, restore purchases, and provide the features you paid for;
- send service messages, such as sign-in links, password resets, security alerts, receipts, renewal reminders and important changes to our terms (these are not marketing, and you cannot opt out of them while you have an account);
- respond to support requests and corrections;
- keep Fendhold secure, prevent fraud and abuse, and enforce our Terms;
- find and fix bugs, measure performance, and improve features and content;
- comply with law and respond to lawful requests.
We send marketing email only if you opt in, and every such email lets you unsubscribe. We do not use your information for advertising, and we do not use your content to train artificial intelligence models.
5. Health and Other Sensitive Information
Fendhold does not ask for health information. Because it is a preparedness tool, you may choose to write sensitive details into your own plans or notes, for example a family member’s allergies, medications or medical needs. If you do, we treat that information as sensitive: we store it only to show it back to you and sync it to your devices, never use it for advertising or profiling, and never sell or share it. You can edit or delete it at any time. Fendhold is not a healthcare provider or health plan and is not a HIPAA covered entity.
7. How Long We Keep Information
- Account and content: until you delete them or your account. You can delete individual items in the app at any time.
- After account deletion: we delete your account and content from our active systems promptly, generally within 30 days of your request. Copies in encrypted backups are overwritten within a further 30 days.
- Purchase records: kept as long as needed for tax, accounting and legal obligations (typically up to seven years), limited to transaction details and not your content.
- Diagnostic and security logs: kept only as long as needed for security, troubleshooting and abuse prevention, then deleted or de-identified.
- Support messages: kept as long as needed to help you and to keep a record of the request, generally no more than three years.
See Delete Your Account for step-by-step instructions.
8. Security
We use administrative, technical and physical safeguards appropriate to the information, including encryption in transit (HTTPS/TLS), encryption at rest by our hosting providers, access controls that restrict each account to its own data, and limited staff access. No system is perfectly secure. If we learn of a security breach that affects your personal information, we will notify you and the authorities as required by law. You can help by using a strong, unique password and keeping your device locked. To report a vulnerability, see our Security page.
9. Where Information Is Stored
Fendhold is operated from the United States and is designed for people in the United States. Information we hold is stored and processed in the United States. If you use Fendhold from another country, your information will be transferred to and processed in the United States, where data protection laws may differ from those in your country.
10. Your Choices and Rights
For everyone. Whatever the law where you live requires, you can:
- access and export your data, using the export option in the app where available or by asking us;
- correct your account information and content in the app or by asking us;
- delete individual items, or your whole account, in the app or as described on Delete Your Account;
- opt out of marketing email at any time, and turn off optional device permissions in your device settings.
U.S. state privacy rights. Residents of California and other U.S. states with comprehensive consumer privacy laws may have rights to know what personal information we collect and how we use and disclose it, to access, correct and delete it, to obtain a portable copy, to opt out of sale, sharing, targeted advertising and certain profiling (we do none of these), to limit the use of sensitive personal information (we use it only as described in Section 5), and not to be discriminated against for using these rights.
EU, EEA and UK. If these laws apply, we process your information to perform our contract with you (providing Fendhold), for our legitimate interests in running, securing and improving Fendhold, to comply with legal obligations, and with your consent where we ask for it (for example, for optional device permissions or marketing), which you can withdraw at any time. You may also object to or restrict processing, and you can complain to your data protection authority.
How to make a request. Email privacy@fendhold.com from the email address on your account, or tell us that address. We verify requests by confirming control of that address, and we may ask for more information if needed to protect your account. You may use an authorized agent; we may ask the agent for proof of authorization and ask you to confirm your identity. We respond within 45 days, and will tell you if we need up to 45 more days as the law allows. There is no charge.
Appeals. If we decline your request, we will explain why. You can appeal by replying to our decision with the word “Appeal”; we will respond within the time required by law (generally 45 to 60 days). If you are not satisfied, you may contact your state attorney general.
11. Children
Fendhold is not directed to children under 13, and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. Users from 13 to 17 may use Fendhold only with a parent or guardian’s involvement, as described in our Terms. If you believe a child under 13 has given us personal information, contact privacy@fendhold.com and we will delete it.
12. Categories of Personal Information (Notice at Collection)
